Beginner Workouts

‘New to Pilates’ Beginner Mat

This class is for those who haven’t done any or much Pilates and want to get started at home. This is also a ‘back to basics’ for experienced practitioners who are out of practice.

Beginners ‘Stiff low Back’ Mat

This class is a great way to open up a stiff low back. Good for all levels. We use a magic circle for stretching, you can also use a theraband, yoga strap, belt or bathrobe tie.

Day 1 Mat

For our first day of studio closure due to the health crisis. All level beginner mat focusing on breath & stretching. No props necessary.

 

Quick Magic Circle Arms

7 minute review and challenge for magic circle arm practice.

 

7 Minute Mat

A quick mat when you only have a few minutes but you need to move! 

 

20 Minute Post-Workout Lower Body Stretch with Magic Circle

A thorough stretch for the hamstrings, hips, IT band and calves for right after a workout.

Grab your magic circle, towel & light (1-3 Lbs) hand weights for this challenging mat.

Strong Intermediate Mat with Weights & Magic circle

A strong intermediate mat using props to work through some ‘reformer’ exercises as well as the intermediate mat. Please use light weights 3Lbs or less or cans to augment this workout :)

‘Burn off steam’ Intermediate Mat

A strong intermediate mat for those trying to burn off a little steam. We use light (1-3lb) weights or two cans to add some more difficultly to arm work.

Jet Leg mat

An intermediate Mat built to lengthen and stegthen a stiff body post-travel. Perfect for the floor of your hotel room.

Snow Day Mat

When the studio is shut due to a Seattle snow storm, Ashley records a quick 20 minute mat good for most levels so clients can practice at home.

 

Magic Circle Intermediate Mat

Ashley’s out of the country for a few week so she recorded a vigorous Mat using the Magic Circle for every exercise. A great challenge to the intermediate mat if you’re missing you Pilates practice

A short beginner/intermediate workout with light arm weights (1-3lbs) to challenge the upper body and the core.
